(Bloomberg) -- Venezuela’s Supreme Court ordered an immediate takeover
of the country’s largest pay-television provider following the
announcement by its U.S. parent company that it would close its
operations in the South American nation, citing U.S. sanctions.

The country’s telecommunications regulator will take control of AT&T
Inc.-owned DirecTV’s assets and infrastructure, including its office and
commercial spaces as well as equipment to maintain services with the
help of the armed forces, the high court said in a statement Friday.

Seems fair. Maybe Venezuelans will be able to watch some real
news at last.

It sounds fair to me, too. Regardless the large amount of customers that
have been affected let's think about the large of workers that have been
affected due to the shutdown of the operations by DirecTV Venezuela. -
Let's see what happens then

Socialism news? I don't think so. I think this is just the news of a
measure taken by the Venezuela’s telecommunications regulator (no matter
if the government is either capitalist, communist or socialist) The
regulator is supposed to do so to protect the customers. Regardless the
large amount of customers that have been affected, think about the large
amount of workers that have been affected due to the shutdown of the
DirecTV operations in Venezuela.

*Think about it*

Let me clarify I'm neither capitalist nor communist not even socialist.
I don't support any political movement. I don't trust in politicians, of
course not even in any kind of government. Because, they all are
deceivers anyway *I just trust in God*
